The Art Gallery of Ontario is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Founded in 1900, the Art Gallery is one of North America's largest public art museums featuring thousands of renowned works. The premier art museum includes exhibits on modern and contemporary art spanning 1,000 years.

Now Torontonians and visitors can experience the new Frank Gehry-designed AGO which opened to the public on Friday November 14, 2008 after being closed for renovations. The new modern gallery allows visitors to view art like never before in 110 light-filled galleries featuring more than 4,000 works. Discover extraordinary collections including: Canadian, Contemporary, European, Photography, Prints and Drawings, and African and Oceanic.
